The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission has issued an Air Quality Alert for Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin and Licking counties in Central Ohio, from 6 AM to 9 PM EDT Tuesday. Levels of ozone within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards. On Alert days, help reduce ozone by taking the following actions: * Carpool, if possible, bike, walk or take the bus instead of driving alone. * Refuel your vehicle after 8 pm. * Do not idle your vehicle, exhaust contributes to air pollution.

Sedgwick County Emergency Management will be testing the Outdoor Warning Sirens at Noon Today. Sedgwick County outdoor warning sirens are tested every Monday at Noon, except Holidays and when threatening weather is present. Today we will be testing the Alert mode, for one minute. The Alert Mode is a steady tone used for Tornado warning, The Attack Mode is a classic rise and fall sound used for Air Attack Warning in times of war.
