The Near-Equatorial Trough (NET) has become very active across eastern Micronesia, with numerous to widespread heavy showers south of Pohnpei and over Kosrae. A weak disturbance, Invest 93W, has also formed along the NET near 5N167E. The NET and associated convection look to drift northward over the next few days, as Invest 93W slowly moves west-northwest. Little development is expected with 93W as it moves out, however, it will help increase rainfall potential across the region.
