The Near-Equatorial Trough (NET) has become very active across eastern Micronesia, with numerous to widespread heavy showers extending south of Chuuk. A weak disturbance, Invest 93W, has also formed along the NET near 10N160E. The NET and associated convection look to drift northward over the next few days, as Invest 93W slowly moves west- northwest. Little development is expected with 93W as it moves out, however, it will help increase rainfall potential across the region.
