Webcams, satellite data, and surface observations indicate that dense fog has moved onshore from Lake Michigan. The lowest visibility in the fog ranges from one half to one quarter of a mile roughly along and east of Interstate 94. The fog is currently not expected to move any further inland. Motorists near and east of Interstate 94 are encouraged to travel at safe speeds and use low beam headlines. Anyone traveling from west to east across the area should also be prepared for lowering visibility.
