The Near-Equatorial Trough (NET) has become very active across eastern Micronesia, with numerous to widespread heavy showers south of Chuuk. A weak disturbance, Invest 93W, has also formed along the NET near 5N168E. The NET and associated convection look to drift northward over the next few days, as Invest 93W slowly moves west- northwest. Little development is expected with 93W as it moves out, however, it will help increase rainfall potential across the region.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Anthony, Vado, Afton, Berino, Chamberino, San Miguel, La Union, La Mesa, Union Pacific Intermodal Terminal and Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park.

At 657 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Camp Holly Fish Camp, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Palm Bay, Melbourne, Satellite Beach, Malabar, and Indialantic. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Conditions are favorable for the development of brief funnel clouds.

At 358 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles southwest of Casa Grande, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Casa Grande, Arizola, Toltec, and Stanfield. This includes the following highways... AZ Interstate 10 between mile markers 188 and 203. AZ Interstate 8 between mile markers 161 and 178.
