* Until 500 PM HST.
* At 121 PM HST, radar indicated heavy rain continuing to fall over<br />
the Puna and Kau districts along the southeast slopes of the Big<br />
Island. Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour with<br />
more rain expected. Additionally, Emergency Management reported<br />
multiple road closures.

At 1106 AM HST, radar indicated heavy rain continued to impact the<br />
Puna and Kau Districts along the southeast slopes of the Big Island.<br />
Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour. Additionally,<br />
Emergency Management reported that Highway 11 was closed at Kawa<br />
flats due to flooding and multiple other roads are closed as well.
HAZARD...Heavy rain producing life threatening flash flooding.
