Description:
At 245 PM CDT, Doppler radar has indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across portions of the warned area, especially from
around Hanceville northward to Holly Pond, and into western portions
of Marshall County. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible especially
in areas from Woodville and Paint Rock, northeastward through
Skyline. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Southern Huntsville, Cullman, Scottsboro, Guntersville, Arab,
Bridgeport, Redstone Arsenal, Hanceville, Good Hope, Stevenson,
Owens Cross Roads, Hollywood, Grant, Skyline, Gurley, Holly Pond,
Section, Woodville, Pisgah and Dodge City.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
