Bayou Sara At Saraland affecting Mobile County.
For the Bayou Sara...including Saraland...Major flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
This approaches the flood of record.
* WHERE...Bayou Sara at Saraland.
* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...at 8.3 feet, Bayou Sara Avenue floods east of gauging
site. Numerous houses and streets flood east of the railroad
between Bayou Sara and Norton Creek.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 8.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.5
feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late
tonight.
- Flood stage is 4.0 feet.
