Description:
At 800 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Laurel Hill, or 8 miles southwest of Florala, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Geneva, De Funiak Springs, Union, Liberty, Paxton, Ponce De Leon,
Caryville, Westville, Black, Pond Creek, Cluster Springs, Gaskin,
Cerrogordo, Darlington, Gritney, Arrant Settlement, Geneva Municipal
A/P, Glendale, Center Ridge, and Smith Crossroads.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 PM CDT for southeastern
Alabama...and the Panhandle of Florida.
