At 348 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles northeast of Phil Campbell, or 12 miles southeast of Russellville, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Decatur, Hartselle, Moulton, Trinity, Mt Hope, Chalybeate Springs, Speake, Ne Smith, Caddo, and Basham.
