Description:
At 355 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Belgreen, or 8 miles southwest of Russellville, moving east at 55
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Russellville, Phil Campbell, Littleville, Belgreen, Hodges, Cedar
Creek Reservoir, Atwood, Srygley Church, La Grange, and Tharptown.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
