At 538 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Ariton, or 9 miles southwest of Clio, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Ozark, Fort Rucker, Ariton, Bells Crossroads, Greater Salem Church, Skipperville, Echo, Dill, Roberts Crossroads, Rocky Head, Mabson, Arguta, Snells Crossroads, Barefield Crossroads, Beamon, Dale County Lake, Clopton, Marley Hill, Phillips Crossroads, and Dillard.
