Description:
At 457 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Meadowbrook, or near Vestavia Hills, moving south at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Hoover, Pelham, Chelsea, Indian Springs Village, Westover, Inverness,
Highland Lakes, Oak Mountain State Park, Fowler Lake, Lake Purdy,
Brook Highland, Greystone, Meadowbrook, Mount Laurel, Hoover Veterans
Park, and Shoal Creek.
