At 443 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Livingston, moving south at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Livingston, York, Cuba, Forkland, Boligee, Gainesville, Epes, Emelle,
Panola, Walden Quarters, The University Of West Alabama, Thornhill,
Dug Hill, Tishabee, New West Greene, Boyd, Allison, Bluffport,
Coatopa, and Kinterbish.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
southwestern and west central Alabama.
