Description:
At 518 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 12 miles southwest of Gordonville to near Pine
Level. Movement was south at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Greenville, Luverne, Georgiana, Brantley, Rutledge, Glenwood, Petrey,
and Highland Home.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
south central Alabama.
