Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by high water and heavy ice runs continues
to be possible along the Yukon River downriver of Ruby.
* WHERE...Middle Yukon Valley. This includes the cities of Galena,
Nulato, Kaltag, and Koyukuk.
* WHEN...Through Friday evening.
* IMPACTS...High water may result in flooding of rivers, creeks,
streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- The ice jam at Yuki River has released, with water and ice
continuing to move towards and past Galena. This will lead to
higher water levels and potential lowland flooding.
