* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Kodiak Island, including the communities of Kodiak City, Port Lions, Ouzinkie, Old Harbor. * WHEN...Until 9 PM AKDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff from heavy rain may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other flood-prone locations, including Bells Flats. Heavy rain may saturate soils, resulting in isolated landslides in areas of steep terrain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Flooding was reported this morning at the intersection of Sargent Creek Road and Rezanof Dr W. - Rain intensity continues to decrease as the low exits the region, with rain forecast to taper off by late this evening. Therefore, the Flood Watch is now set to end at 9 PM this evening.
