* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt continues to be possible. * WHERE...Lower Yukon and Innoko Valleys. This includes the communities of Grayling, Holy Cross, and Shageluk. * WHEN...Through Thursday evening. * IMPACTS...High water may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The ice jam 10 miles downriver from Russian Mission is still in place as of 4PM Wednesday. The ice jam is about 60 miles long with the most extensive overbank flooding occurring at Holy Cross. The Holy Cross runway is completely submerged and numerous structures in the lower part of town are surrounded with water being reported in several homes. At Anvik and Grayling, water levels continued to rise on Wednesday with low lying roads and a few structures being inundated. When the Russian Mission ice jam releases, water levels should lower upriver. - Http://www.weather.gov/aprfc
