Description:
* WHAT...For the Freezing Fog Advisory, visibility down to a quarter
mile in freezing fog. For the Frost Advisory, temperatures as low
as 30 will result in frost formation.
* WHERE...City and Borough of Yakutat.
* WHEN...Until 8 AM AKDT this morning.
* IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive
outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered. Low visibility
could make travel conditions hazardous. Frost and freeze conditions
could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage
unprotected outdoor plumbing.
Instruction:
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. Sensitive
plants and shrubs should be covered or brought indoors if possible.
If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.
