Description:
At 611 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Bastrop, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Bastrop, Mer Rouge, and Collinston around 615 PM CDT.
Galion around 620 PM CDT.
Bonita around 635 PM CDT.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious
injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors
during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.
