Description:
* WHAT...Blizzard conditions, especially overnight into Monday
morning. Additional snow accumulations between 8 and 10 inches and
ice accumulations around a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 50
mph.
* WHERE...Manitowoc and Kewaunee Counties.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Widespread
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
conditions will impact the Monday morning commute. Strong winds
could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There will be a lull in the heavy snow through
this evening. During the lull, expect periods of light snow mixed
with freezing drizzle. Strong winds will still produce significant
blowing and drifting snow in open areas.
