Description:
* WHAT...South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are
expected.
* WHERE...The Shasta Valley in Central Siskiyou County. This
includes the portion of Interstate 5 from Weed to Hilt, including
the cities of Yreka, Grenada, and Montague.
* WHEN...From 8 AM to 6 PM PDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few
power outages may result.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...First, south winds late this morning through
this afternoon are expected to be slightly below advisory
strength, at 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
Instruction:
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
