* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 9 to 12 feet. Dangerous rip currents. Possible coastal inundation along northern shorelines during high tide. * WHERE...For the High Surf Advisory, north facing reefs of the Marianas. For the High Risk of Rip Currents, north and east facing reefs. For the Coastal Flood Watch, northern shorelines. * WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory and High Rip Current Risk, until 4 PM ChST Friday. For the Coastal Flood Watch, until 4 PM ChST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...A few roads may be closed. Low lying property may be inundated. Some shoreline erosion may occur. Breaking waves can sweep people off jetties and docks, and into dangerous seas. Life- threatening swimming conditions and significant beach erosion can be expected. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Elevated long-period north to northeast swell, produced by a distant mid-latitude system well east of Japan and a prior strong Kona Low north of Hawai'i, will continue to produce hazardous surf along north facing reefs, and a high risk of rip currents along north and east facing reefs through the latter half of the week. Coastal inundation along northern shorelines of 1 to 2 feet is possible through this afternoon during times of high tide.
Instruction: 
Rip currents will be life threatening. Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
