...Warm, Dry and Windy Conditions Expected Tuesday... .Dry conditions will continue across the region over the next several days. Today, winds from the northwest will increase to 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon, with gusts around 35 mph. The winds, combined with continued very dry conditions will allow for the rapid spread and growth of any fires. Wednesday, RH values are forecast to drop into the low to mid teens as westerly winds gust around 25 to 30 MPH. ...FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 001, 079, 080, 081, AND 252... * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 001 Cheyenne KS, 079 Dundy, 080 Hitchcock, 081 Red Willow and 252 Yuma. * TIMING...For the Red Flag Warning, until 7 PM MDT /8 PM CDT/ this evening.
