The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for...
The island of Molokai in Maui County
* Until 1100 PM HST.
* At 816 PM HST, Rainfall across Molokai has diminished this
evening. However, runoff from earlier rainfall continues to keep
streams elevated, particularly along Kawela Gulch. Emergency
Management reports that Kamehameha Highway near Kawela Gulch or
around mile marker 35 remains closed this evening due to ongoing
flooding.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
