Little Tallahatchie Canal at Etta For the Little Tallahatchie River...including Etta...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Tallahatchie Canal at Etta. * WHEN...From this morning to Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Extensive cropland flooding is occurring, mainly between State Highway 30 and County Road 46. Water is beginning to cover the unpaved portion of Union County Road 47 near Mud Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 25.1 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 25.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.5 feet just after midnight tonight.
