* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northern New York, including the following county, Clinton. * WHEN...Until 900 AM EDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 408 PM EDT, Emergency management reported an ice jam near the warned area due to snowmelt. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. - An ice jam has developed in Champlain. Based on the gage at Perry Mills, water appears to be backing up again. Emergency Management reports that the river is already near bankfull, and any discharge of water may result in flooding in the village of Champlain along the Great Chazy River. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
