* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam continues. * WHERE...Marshall. * WHEN...Until 100 AM AKDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 532 PM AKDT Friday, the River Watch Team estimated the ice jam is located several miles downstream of Marshall and is causing water to back up into upstream communities. The ice jam is backing up about 40 miles of chunk ice. Once this jam releases the breakup front will progress downstream and bring the potential for flooding to Pilot Station and St. Mary's due to additional ice jams and heavy ice runs. - Please take appropriate action to move boats, vehicles and other belongings to higher ground. - http://www.weather.gov/aprfc
