Kickapoo River at Gays Mills affecting Crawford County.
...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in
Wisconsin...
Kickapoo River at Soldiers Grove affecting Crawford County.
.The Kickapoo River continues to slowly recede. Flood warnings
remain for both Steuben and Gays Mills. Meanwhile, the Flood Warning
has been cancelled at Soldiers Grove.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Kickapoo River at Steuben.
* WHEN...From this morning to early Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 12.5 feet, Water reaches the bottom support beams of
the bridge.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 12.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:45 AM CDT Tuesday was 12.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 12.3 feet just after
midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early
tomorrow afternoon to 8.3 feet early Saturday afternoon. It
will rise to 8.6 feet Sunday evening. It will then fall again
and remain below flood stage.
