* WHAT...Rising stream levels and a risk for ice jam flooding. * WHERE...Portions of south central, west central, and western Maine, including the following areas, in south central Maine, Southern Somerset. In west central Maine, Central Somerset. In western Maine, Northern Franklin and Southern Franklin. * WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Elevated streams and rivers across the Western Maine Mountains will continue to move river ice, keeping a risk of ice jam related flooding through this evening. Once the streamflows recede later this evening the flood risk will improve. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Concerns for ice jam flooding. River ice can cause unexpected flooding and should be monitored closely.
