At 329 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles northeast of Shark Valley Obs Tower, or 18 miles northwest of The Redland, moving north at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Shark Valley Obs Tower.
