At 516 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from over Perkins to over Cobbtown, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Statesboro, Metter, Millen, Sylvania, Butts, Portal, Cobbtown, Hiltonia, Pulaski and Register. This includes I-16 between mile markers 96 and 121.
