At 750 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Meridian, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Darien, Meridian, Carnigan, Ridgeville, Valona, Crescent, Sapelo Island, Wolf Island, Little Saint Simons Island and Pine Harbor. This includes I-95 in Georgia near mile marker 50...and between mile markers 47 and 49...and between mile markers 51 and 58.
