* At 750 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
over Wrights Corner to near Highland, or along a line from 19 miles
northeast of Vandalia to near Highland, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Instruction:

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for portions of
south central and southwest Illinois.
