Description:
At 442 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles southeast of
Evansville, or 7 miles northwest of Chester, moving southeast at 15
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Ellis Grove, New Palestine, Blair, Chester, Bremen, Welge,
Steeleville, Percy and Shiloh Hill.
This includes the following State Parks...
Piney Creek Ravine State Natural Area and Randolph County State
Recreation Area.

windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
