At 111 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Villa Grove to near Janesville. Movement was northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Charleston, Mattoon, Tuscola, Arcola, St. Joseph, Tolono, Villa Grove, Philo, Sidney, Homer, Oakland, Newman, Ogden, Kansas, Ashmore, Fairmount, Sidell, Westfield, Pesotum, and Fithian. This includes the following highways... Interstate 57 between mile markers 186 and 223. Interstate 74 between mile markers 196 and 205.
