...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana... East Fork White River near Rivervale. Flatrock River near Columbus. East Fork White River at Columbus. Driftwood River near Edinburgh. East Fork White River at Seymour. East Fork White River near Bedford. East Fork White River at Williams. .Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall over the last couple of days has brought moderate flooding to the Seymour area on the East Fork White and widespread minor lowland flooding the East Fork White basin. The crest on the East Fork is near Columbus and Seymour, and on the lower East Fork flooding is expected to last through most of next week. More rounds of rainfall going into and through the holiday weekend could make the flooding last even longer and bring higher crests for downriver points. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...East Fork White River at Columbus. * WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Cabins begin to flood south of Tellman Road. Mill Race Park floods. Lowland flooding begins. State Road 11 between Southern Crossing and CR 550 S is closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:00 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 9.4 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:00 PM EDT Thursday was 9.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.4 feet this afternoon.
