Southwestern Mower County in southeastern Minnesota... * Until 1115 PM CDT. * At 1012 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located along a line extending from near Mansfield to 8 miles north of Mason City Municipal Airport to 10 miles south of Clear Lake, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. This system has a history of producing tornadoes across northcentral and northwest Iowa over the past hour. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.
