At 436 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 miles east of Randolph to near Villisca, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported quarter size hail 3 miles south of Stanton at 435 PM CDT. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Red Oak, Villisca, Stanton, Emerson, Imogene, Coburg, Hepburn, Hacklebarney Woods County Park, and Viking Lake State Park.
