Description:
At 1055 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 8 miles east of Osage, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Mitchell and northeastern Floyd Counties, including the
following locations... Colwell County Park, New Haven, Idlewilde
State Park, Howardville, Colwell, County Roads 17 And T 72, and Floyd
Crossing.
