At 1020 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 6 miles south of Massena, or 11 miles north of Corning, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Cass, north central Adams and southwestern Adair Counties, including the following locations... Lake Icaria State Park.
