At 1019 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 miles east of Pleasanton to near Fort Scott to 6 miles northeast of Parsons, moving southeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. Multiple reports of 60 to 70 mph wind gusts have been received from this line of storms. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Pittsburg, Prairie State Park, Nevada, Fort Scott, Lamar, Frontenac, Girard, Arma, Marmaton, Golden City, Liberal, Cherokee, Sheldon, Mulberry, Chicopee, Mccune, Nashville, Mindenmines, Franklin, and Montevallo.
