At 437 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Thayer, or 9
miles east of Neodesha, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Chanute, Erie, Thayer, Galesburg, Stark, Earlton, Lake Parsons, and
Chanute Airport.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for southeastern
Kansas.
