At 919 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 5 miles east of Douglass to near Geuda Springs to near Braman to Manchester, moving southeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. This storm has a history of producing 60 to 75 mph winds. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Arkansas City, Winfield, Andover, Wellington, Rose Hill, Anthony, Douglass, Belle Plaine, Harper, Caldwell, Oxford, Udall, Attica, Burden, Argonia, South Haven, Dexter, Atlanta, Geuda Springs, and Latham. This includes Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 1 and 29.
