At 1129 AM CDT, Rainfall has ended but amounts were high enough that flash flooding remains possible through early this afternoon. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Calvert City, Birmingham Ferry Recreation Area, Hillman Ferry Campground, Land Between The Lakes Area, Golden Pond Visitors Center, Demumbers Bay Campground, Turkey Bay, Wranglers Campground and Aurora.
