Description:
At 357 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Oakland to 6 miles southwest of
Rowlesburg. Movement was southeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Mountain Lake Park, Oakland, Bayard, Loch Lynn Heights, Crellin,
Redhouse, Hutton, Gorman, Gormania, and Wilson.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
western Maryland...and eastern West Virginia.
