Description:
Significant snowpack remains over the northern and eastern U.P.
Temperatures well above freezing and higher humidity will continue
to increase snowmelt. Over the south-central U.P. snowpack has
eroded but rivers, streams, creeks, and low laying areas remain high
or full. Additional showers and a few thunderstorms are possible
tonight.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central Upper and western Upper Michigan,
including the following areas, in central Upper Michigan, Alger,
Baraga, Delta, Dickinson, Iron, Luce, Marquette, Menominee,
Northern Schoolcraft and Southern Schoolcraft. In western Upper
Michigan, Keweenaw, Northern Houghton and Southern Houghton.
* WHEN...Through late Thursday night.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
