Description:
Gusty southwest winds and low relative humidity will lead to
elevated fire danger today. Winds of 10 to 20 mph and frequent gusts
of 25-35 mph will be seen over much northern Michigan late this
morning through this afternoon. Minimum relative humidity values of
20-35 percent are expected over much of northern lower Michigan.
These conditions could lead to rapid spread of fires. Check burning
restrictions and fire danger before burning.
