Northeastern Freeborn County in south central Minnesota... * Until 1100 PM CDT. * At 1033 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from over New Richland to near London, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include... Hartland, Clarks Grove, London, Hollandale and Geneva.

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing widespread damaging winds. Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built structure. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT Monday for a portion of south central Minnesota.
