At 514 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Stewartville to Lanesboro to near Ridgeway. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Rochester, Caledonia, Preston, Stewartville, St. Charles, Chatfield, Spring Valley, Eyota, Rushford, Spring Grove, Grand Meadow, Harmony, Houston, Mabel, Lanesboro, Dover, Wykoff, Fountain, Canton, and Fillmore. This includes Interstate 90 in Minnesota between mile markers 194 and 249.
